Air New Zealand schedule changes in November and new automated check-in system launch on Monday next week
The weekly Air New Zealand flights will change from Tuesdays to Saturdays starting on the 4th of November which means that the flight from Auckland will arrive in Niue on Fridays and not Monday.
The new schedule will start in November to March next year confirmed by an Air New Zealand spokesperson who responded to questions from BCN News said “From November 4, our weekly flights to Niue will operate on a Saturday rather than a Tuesday right through until March 2023. We will continue to operate weekly through this period and we’re looking forward to welcoming our customers onboard from Niue and Auckland”.
Air New Zealand has been servicing Niue with weekly and sometimes twice-weekly flights since 2004 and on Monday next week will launch their automated check-in system at the airport.
Currently on the island is one technician to install the new automated check-in system and two trainers to train the local Air NZ ground crew on the new system.
The automated system will bring to an end eighteen years of your name and seat number handwritten on the boarding pass by William, Ida, or Sefeti who have been checking in Air New Zealand passengers bound for Auckland for nearly two decades, and on Monday next week, they will be using this new check-in system at Hanan International Airport.
