Pending on good weather today- Wednesday -June 19th and Thursday- June 20th, 2024, the final layering of seal from Tapeu junction to Amanau quarry area, half the road will be closed. Traffic control will be in place.
According to the China Railway First Group Notice, the final layering of the seal will be done from Tapeu junction to Fonuakula BCN Office, the road will be closed and traffic control will be in place.
Final layering of the seal will be from Utuko Junction up to Peta Hill, the 200 meters road will be half open with traffic control will be in place.
The Nue Foou Hospital Car park is also closed until further notice. A kind reminder to use covid testing track to access the Hospital.
The Public Service building car park is also closed and pending on good weather will be reopened.
The Maefu Village road to Tuapa Village road will be half open until further notice.
From Tamakautoga and ANAANA area to Alofi Tafalalo it is still Closed until further Notice.
The Hospital Road to Kaimiti Junction , S Leolahi Residents Area is still Closed until further notice.
The Alofi North Road is now Open and the Tuila Road is also now Open.
All affected residents must make arrangements to park your vehicles on the other side of the road construction, where its safe to access and avoid crossing the new seal roads.
