Niueans planning to travel to Samoa have been advised to take the necessary precautions, this comes after the current outbreak of dengue fever in the country.

Head of Public Health-Grizelda Mokoia told BCN News that if anyone does experience symptoms while in Samoa is to notify the health officials while there.
“As of November last year Samoa has a total case of 250 dengue fever,so they noted they had an outbreak in April so they had 80 cases altogether.” she said.
Mokoia has advised anyone planning to travel to Samoa to take the necessary precautions like we always do, to have an insect repellent to take with them when they travel and when they come back from Samoa and they feel unwell they should let the Health department here know.
