One of the significant challenges of our tourism industry is the slow response rate of operators to direct booking inquiries.
This was the sentiments shared by Niue Tourism Director-Micah Fuhiniu-Viviani to BCN News when asked about the challenges they face.
“The delay or slow response times create a gap in the booking process that can frustrate potential visitors. This issue often results in travelers either reaching out to the Niue Tourism team for assistance in following up or they abandon their interest in visiting Niue altogether, exploring other alternative travel destinations
In today’s fast-paced, technology-driven world, travelers have come to expect quick, often instant responses to their inquiries. Many visitors plan their trips based on the efficiency and ease of communication with service providers, making timely responses a critical aspect of their overall experience. This interaction forms one of the first impressions of Niue as a destination and sets the tone for their journey
