Niue Archery Association undergoes Coaches training course
Matheson hopes that through the training the coaches can upgrade their skills and be able to work with those that might be interested in the sport in the future.
A World Archery body Development officer from New Zealand is on the island this week to conduct training for the Niue Archery Association.
BCN News caught up with Cushla Matheson on Monday who shared more on the purpose of her visit.
Matheson says the training is a refresher course for coaches to upgrade their skills.
She said due to covid, all these training had to be postponed until now.
Niue Archery Association President-Losana Sioneholo said they are happy to be part of this training.
Matheson hopes that through the training the coaches can upgrade their skills and be able to work with those that might be interested in the sport in the future.
The Niue Archery Association was established in 2018 with about 20 members.
