Floral Competition a build up to 50 years Anniversary Celebration

There were four distinct floral categories of Foilage, keuilas, Tropical and coconut leaves. About 53 participants took part in the event that included men with 8 judges.
All participants walked away with prices during the show. 

The Fitikanai Association in collaboration with the Niue Growers Association held a Floral competition last Saturday at the Niue High School Hall. 

People showed up to have a look through the amazing work of floral art showcased by the men and women at the event. 

Fitikanai Vice President-Lofa Misa says the event is a build up to this year’s 50 years Celebration and they are thankful to the Niue Government for coming on board to sponsor them. 

Present at the event was Niue Premier-Hon Dalton Tagelagi, Minister for Social Services-Hon. Sonya Talagi and Australian High Commissioner to Niue-Katy Stuart.

LOFA  MISA 

Participant- Lava Mokalei of Avatele who took part in 3 categories entered the competition with her daughter because of her love for flowers and was happy the competition was held.
