The Department of Agriculture Fisheries and Forestry is now in charge of
the management of the markets.

Minister for Natural resources Dalton Tagelagi called a meeting on Tuesday April 14th at the Alofi market.
He informed them of the new management under DAFF and that expenses such
as bills and fees will be taken care of by DAFF.
