High definition quality of programme from Pasifika TV on TV Niue channel

The Broadcasting Corporation of Niue is working with the Pacific Cooperation Broadcasting Limited in upgrading the Pasifika Channel.

This will mean high definition quality of programme content from Pasifika TV which is shown on the TV Niuean channel.

A team of technicians from PCBL have assisted BCN’s technician in upgrading the channel from Standard Definition (SD) to High Definition (HD). This has involved the installation of new Encoders.

The upgrade assistance funded by MFAT through PCBL and is in line with BCN’s long term plan for full HD transmission of its TV programme content.
