New Chief of Police takes oath

Timothy Wilson has been sworn in as the new Chief of Police.

Wilson from Washington took his Oath before Niue Public Service Commissioner Victoria Kalauni on Wednesday this week.

He is no stranger to Niue as he has previously served as a LDS missionary to the island starting 1994 in the village of Mutalau.

He has extensive experience as a Police officer from the United     States of America and has risen through the ranks over the years.
