Airport’s arrival terminal will soon include a luggage carousel

Hanan International Airport’s arrival side of the terminal will soon be upgraded to include a luggage carousel. 

This is according to the Premier and Minister of Civil Aviation at the Fono Ekepule sitting on Wednesday December 3rd. 

In response to questions from Common Roll MP Crossley Tatui, the Premier said that there is already a carousel which was donated by a foreign company however in order to install it, the arrival side will have to extend it to fit this carousel. 

This upgrade is estimated to cost 1 million dollars which  he admitted the government has yet to secure from donor support. He said the government is still looking for money to extend the arrival side to fit in the new carousel.
