BCN’s Technical Manager-Jale Lomaloma is currently in Nauru attending a 2 week-long Regional Broadcast Technician Training organised by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) and the Pacific Media Assistance Scheme (PACMAS).
The training has been facilitated by highly experienced engineers and trainers from Australia’s ABC. Lomaloma who has been with BCN for over nine years now works behind the scenes most times, ensuring all our technical operations runs smoothly everyday.
He said the training has not only deepened his technical knowledge but also provided an excellent opportunity to network and share experiences with 16 other technicians from across the Pacific.
“The knowledge and skills gained from this workshop will not only enhance my own professional development but will also contribute positively to the continued growth and advancement of BCN,” he said.
He is grateful to ABC and PACMAS for the opportunity to participate in this important training and extends his appreciation to the Broadcasting Corporation of Niue for supporting his attendance.
