Niue Government Renews Niue Ship Registry

This renewed agreement will extend for an additional five year period.

The Niue government renewed its Memorandum of Agreement with the Niue Ship Registry Pte Ltd last month on the 21st of February in Singapore. 

In a government press release issued yesterday, Minister of Finance Hon. Crossley Tatui was able to formalize the renewed agreement alongside key officials including Director of Transport Morgan Mougavalu and the Niue government Solicitor General Justin Kamupala. 

This renewed agreement will extend for an additional five year period. 

Since its establishment, the Niue Ship Registry has been a valuable source of revenue for the Government of Niue, with an estimated $3.7 million NZD to assist with various projects and initiatives aimed at benefiting the government and the people of Niue. 

The Niue government looks forward to continuing its fruitful partnership with the Niue Ship Registry Pte Ltd.
