YAARA I Barge arrives to Niue transporting bitumen for airport runway upgrade project

The long anticipated Yaara I Barge and M.T. The Bellarine tug boat arrived at Sir Roberts Wharf earlier this morning. 

According to Maritime Officer Lynsey Talagi, the barge is bringing in the rest of the bitumen for the airport runway upgrade project. 

The barge berthed alongside the wharf which unloaded its cargo this morning.

The Yaara I barge travelled all the way from Fiji. This is the second barge to Niue this year.
