The Australian Government will expand its scholarship program in 2024 to include one masters level scholarship at an Australian university for students from Niue.
In a media release, the Australian High Commissioner to Niue, H.E. Louise Ellerton said “it’s an absolute pleasure to announce the expansion of our scholarships program to include study in Australia at the masters level commencing in 2024”.
High Commissioner Ellerton said that “the announcement responds to strong interest in the program from the Government of Niue and prospective students. The Australia Awards Scholarship provides students with an opportunity to gain a world-class education in Australia and is about investing in Niue’s future.”
The announcement comes at the same time as the call for applications for the six scholarship awards offered by Australia Awards Pacific Scholarship to study at regional institutions.
Applications are invited for both the Masters levels to study at any university in Australia and for the six awards to regional universities are now open since January 31st and will close on the 30th of April 2023
