Emergency Medivac to NZ
A medical emergency on the island yesterday morning required the services of the air ambulance to transport a critically ill patient to New Zealand.
An air ambulance arrived at half past nine last night departing at around 10 minutes to midnight.
The air ambulance was required to medivac a female patient to New Zealand for urgent medical treatment.
According to family the patient went into surgery earlier this morning and she remains in critical condition.
