Couple wins Niue Lawn Bowls Annual Championship

Pauline and Mark Blumsky are Niue’s first couple to win the annual Niue Lawn Bowls championship in their respective single women and single men’s categories.

The championship had 24 participants – 12 for the men and 12 for the women.

In the finals Pauline played against former champion Christine Ioane and Mark Blumsky against Des Hipa.  Mark maintains his title having won the championship last year.

Trials are being planned for selection of members to participate and represent Niue at the Asia Pacific Games held in Australia in June and the Pacific Games in Samoa in July.
