According to the Niue Government’s Facebook page, Premier Tagelagi shared his hope for a successful PALM10 and expressed deep gratitude to the Government and people of Japan for their ongoing cooperation.
He emphasized the importance of community-led projects and international partnerships for a sustainable future.
This significant development marks a new chapter in enhancing the friendly relations between Japan and Niue.
She shared more on the various projects that the Indian Government will be providing to Niue that includes the solar installation at the Fale Fono II and other upcoming projects.
Minister Peters and his delegation will spend three days on the island visiting some of the NZ-funded projects including the Niue Foou Hospital and Niue High School.
The Fono Ekepule will be broadcasted live on Radio Sunshine and on TV Niue’s Channel 1 from 9am tomorrow.
The Ambassador was able to meet with the Philippines community last Wednesday night.
There are about 50 Filipino families on the island.
The Government of Niue has approved the appointment of new members for the government Boards, although the names of the new Board members were not released.
