According to a Media Release by Auckland University, the Niue Research Symposium aims to establish a network of professionals and academic students.

The workshop is a build up to this month’s fashion show for the 50th Anniversary Celebration that will be held on Tuesday-October 15th
The symposium provides an important platform for dialogue, learning and sharing of ideas on how digital technology can drive innovation, efficiency, economic growth, and social inclusion
The meeting is in preparation for COP29 that will be held later this year in Azerbaijan from the 11th to the 22nd of November.
The activities for the month-long celebrations will begin this week with the Taro festival held today at the Niue Golf and Sports Club
