Tano’s Gym receive timely donation of equipment’s

After two decades of dedication, Tano’s Gym has received a huge lift.
The humble gym in Alofi North has produced some of the country’s top weightlifters and medalists but for over 20 years has needed an upgrade and replacement of outdated equipment.
Last week that changed, a blessing ceremony unveiling brand-new weights, shoes and belts among other gear, generously donated by the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF).
What gym owner Alan Tano and President of the Niue Weightlifting Federation-Narita Tahega Viliamu hope will propel Niue’s weightlifting talent’s to new heights.
The gym is open 24/7 to the public and is free.
Meanwhile as part of the calendar of events for the 50th Commemoration, a power lifting event will be held this evening-Thursday October 24, 2024 at 6pm at Claytons club.
