7th Pacific Media Summit a Success
The events brought to an end a successful week-long 7th Pacific Media Summit hosted by the Niue Media Association in collaboration with the Government of Niue and the Pacific Islands News Association (PINA)
The closing ceremony of the 7th Pacific Media Summit was held last Thursday at Talos Restaurant in Alofi.
Australian High Commissioner to Niue -HE Katy Staurt during her speech congratulated Niue and the BCN team for hosting the summit and highlighted the important role of the media in the region.
The newly elected Pacific Islands News Association (PINA) President-Kalafi Moala also thanked Niue for hosting the summit despite the challenges leading up to the event.
New Zealand High Commission to Niue-HE Mark Gibb also took the opportunity to highlight Programmes for the media that they support.
Former BCN Journalist and now Minister for Natural Resources-Hon. Mona Ainu’u also reflected on her days of reporting and thanked all media professionals from across the region for reporting responsibly.
