Appropriation Bill final reading in Assembly tomorrow
The Fono Ekepule will be broadcasted live on Radio Sunshine and on TV Niue’s Channel 1 from 9am tomorrow.
The Niue Assembly’s Public Accounts Committee last week completed their deliberations and meetings with the government ministries and state-owned enterprises on the Appropriations Bill 2024/2025.
The Appropriations Bill sets out the government’s recurrent budget for the financial year starting July 1st to June 30th next year.
For the new financial year, the government’s expenditure stands at $68.4 million with revenue estimates of $52.5 million.
The Government’s $15.9 million deficit budget will be returned to the Assembly for its second and final reading tomorrow. The Fono Ekepule will be broadcasted live on Radio Sunshine and on TV Niue’s Channel 1 from 9am tomorrow.
