Adding a touch of color to the Hanan Airport were members of the Niue Tolomaki Auloa Association (NTTA) who had their mural event on the last day of the Niue Arts Festival two weeks ago.
Kids alongside their parents and guardians showed up with their paintbrush and colors painting over the car park rock pillars.
Events Coordinator-Mele Talamahina said the event was a fun day for Niue’s children aimed at raising awareness for autism.

Some of the kids who we spoke to said they were enjoying the activity especially during their school holidays.
“This is phase one and hopefully by June or July we can carry on and paint as many rocks as we can. It is to beautify our car park and the airport,” she said.
Mele thanked all their sponsors and the government for coming through and supporting a worthy cause.
The mural event was also their contribution to the Niue Arts Festival.
