Niue Primary School received a donation of 10 Ukuleles from Australian Ukulele Orchestra-Ian Porter recently.
After a request from one of his former Student-Jason Mason (Jimbo) who has links to Niue for Ukuleles, this become a reality for Ian Porter as they handed over 20 Ukuleles to the school.
Porter said the feedback from students has been fantastic as he conducted sessions with the primary and high school students including the teachers as well last week.
Porter is in Niue for first time and has been enjoying every moment and plans to make future trips.
From these 20 ukulele handed over, 10 was presented to Niue Primary School, 5 was gifted to the Education head office and 5 to Jackson Hekesi for the Village show day performances on behalf of the Niue Government.
