Niue Delegate at Pre-COP Meeting
The meeting is in preparation for COP29 that will be held later this year in Azerbaijan from the 11th to the 22nd of November.

A delegate from Niue is currently in Nadi, Fiji at the Pacific Small Island Developing States Ministerial Pre-COP Meeting this week.
The meeting is in preparation for COP29 that will be held later this year in Azerbaijan from the 11th to the 22nd of November.
Part of the Niue delegate include Director Climate Change Resilience SPREP-Tagaloa Cooper, Niue Met Service Director-Rossy Mitiepo, Environment Director-Haden Talagi , Hon Sina Hekau, SPC’s Director Climate Change -Coral Pasisi, Niue GCF Advisor-Annmarie Aholima and Financial Secretary Of Niue Doreen Siataga.
The Conference of Parties or COP is an annual meeting where member states of the United Nations convene to assess progress in dealing with climate change and make a plan for climate action.
