BCN News caught up with the new Republic of Korea Ambassador to Niue-His Excellency Changsik Kim yesterday.
With over 30 years of diplomatic experience, His Excellency Changsik Kim says his happy to be on the rock on his first official visit to the island admiring the lush green environment.
During his presentation of credentials to cabinet on Tuesday, Kim spoke on some key areas that both countries will be focused on such as climate change, education and health.
He also spoke on various long term partnerships with a focus on the economy.
Kim is based in Wellington also offered his congratulations as the island prepares for the 50th Anniversary celebration next month.
He plans to visit Niue again and is the first Ambassador designate from Korea.that looks after Samoa,Tonga and Cook islandsas well.
He departs the island tomorrow.
