Business Link Pacific encourages local business to apply for grant

Deputy Director Of Business Link Pacific (BLP) -Paul Wendland is on the island last week to have meetings with various businesses and how they can support them. 

With over 12 branches across the Pacific, Business Link Pacific connects small and medium sized businesses in the Pacific to local advisory services.

The BLP quality approved network of advisors offers accessible services for business growth. Furthermore it offers subsidies to help businesses improve their outcomes.

Paul, who is based in New Zealand shared more on his visit this week working alongside the Niue Chamber of Commerce in coordination with the Niue Department of Tourism and the Niue Development Bank to deliver business support locally.

The BLP Business Support Grants range in size from $5,000 NZD to $20,000 NZD and will be based on the number of employees and the size of the business.

He encourages all businesses on the island to apply for the grant, more  information can be found on the NZ High Commission Niue Facebook page.

Their core team is based in New Zealand and is supported by in-country partners in the Cook Islands, Fiji, Kiribati, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga, and Vanuatu.

Business Link Pacific is funded by the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade and is supported by the New Zealand High Commission in Niue.
