Transport Department receives new fire and rescue vehicle
According to the NZ High Commission to Niue Facebook Post, New Zealand is proud to have supported Niue to fund and commission this state of the art vehicle that comes with the latest fire-fighting technology to respond to an emergency at Hanan International Airport, and to protect lives and infrastructure across Niue.
The Department of Transport received its new fire and rescue vehicle last Thursday.

New Zealand High Commissioner, HE Mark Gibb, handed over the keys to Premier Dalton Tagelagi last week.
The High Commission also acknowledged the former Director of Transport-Hon. Sonya Talagi who initiated the vision and drove this important project forward.
