Gael Gartrell of the Niue Rock Vets is pleading with the community regarding the recent theft at the clinic if the items can be returned to them.
She says their service has been operating now for 10 years and they kindly ask the community to respect their clinic and to treat it as sacred.
“If you find at home a strange cage whether it be one of our metal traps that we have lost a number of or a larger dog crate please could you drop it back to clinic no questions asked, we would just appreciate it back so we can share it with the people on the island,” she said.
The Team of 10 is currently on the island and will be de sexing dogs and cats throughout the week except on Friday.
Gartrell is happy with the community’s support and their response to seeking their services as well as working with the Government.
