And the Niue Met Service has recorded the coldest temperature for Niue on Tuesday this week.
Niue Meteorology Service Director-Rossy Mitiepo has confirmed this stating that they recorded low temperatures due to the high pressure system to the far south.
She added the minimum temperature this year is much lower than last year.
It was 9.9 degrees at Vaipapahi Station with Lower temperatures from the Liku and Hanan stations.
According to the Niue Met Service Facebook post, a strong wind warndng remains in force for Niue land areas.
Moderate to fresh east to southeast winds, gusty at times. Cloudy with brief showers. Cool at night.
