Digital transformation was one of the topics during a development workshop between the Niue High School and Niue Primary School teachers and staff with the team from the New Zealand Pasifika Principal Association that was on the island last week.
This was revealed to BCN News by Facilitator Jerry Leaupepe.
He says it’s now important on how to integrate digital technology and how this can be implemented into the education system to ensure how we can be more efficient and the impact it can have with students.
Leaupepe also highlighted some other challenges apart from teacher shortage.The Association also donated some resources to both the schools.
An 18 member team from the New Zealand Pasifika Principal Association were on the island last week touring the school and meeting the staff and students of both the Niue Primary Niue High School
The New Zealand Pasifika Principal Association is aimed at proactively advancing the cause of Pasifika Education in the region.It has about 130 members who are mostly of Pacific heritage.
