Thursday Road Work Update
Street lights installation and cable trenching will continue in Alofi North.
Affected residents are asked to make arrangements to park your vehicles on the other side of the road construction, where its safe to access and avoid crossing the new seal roads.
China Railway First Group (CRFG) road update for today-Thursday July 11th, final layering of seal in Alofi North from CENTENIAL Area to VAILA Area, on the coastal side will be done today. Half the road will be closed with Traffic control will be in place.
The final layering of seal in Alofi South, Amanau Area to the quarry, half the road will be closed with traffic control in place.
The final layering of seal from Tuapa Village to Makefu Village on the land side is now open. The final layering of seal in TUAPA Village to Malekau is still CLOSED, until further notice.
Double layering of sealing in ALOFI areas will continue, please refrain from using this areas when Road works starts.
