Girls Brigade Niue mark special Occasion
The event’s had a church service in the morning followed by lunch. The events theme was “Rise in Strength, Make Disciples” focused on transforming girl’s lives to enrich God’s world.
The Girls Brigade Niue held an International Day of Prayer and also celebrated 131 years of the Girls Brigade around the world last Saturday.
About 11 companies from around the island also showcased their semaphore flags as part of celebrating Niue’s 50 years this years.

“So today’s programme we also look at the Girls Brigade Niue where we present our national awards as well as do our activities like our companies marching with flags and also we had the service. So we are going to do that despite the rain,”
