VHF Network Survey underway

The survey aims to provide the Pacific Maritime Safety Programme (PMSP) with feedback on how the VHF extension has worked for people on the island.

A survey is currently being conducted by the  Pacific Maritime Safety Programme on feedback on how the VHF extension is working on the island. 

According to a NZ High Commission to Niue Facebook post, the Programme is aimed at members of the public who are operators of the VHF network including fishers, boat operators, and radio operators are encouraged to participate in the survey. 

Questions in the survey include how often a person uses VHF, reasons why you have used VHF and gaps as well.

The closing date for the survey is Friday- June 28th, click link here-VHF Survey Link. The Link for the survey can also be found on the NZ High Commission to Niue Facebook page. 

The information gathered from this survey will be held by PMSP and shared with relevant partners including Telecom Niue and the Department of Transport.
