The Government of Niue has approved the appointment of new members for the government Boards, although the names of the new Board members were not released.

In a media statement last Thursday, it stated the new board members are for the Price Control Board, Tender Board, Telecom Niue Ltd Board, Broadcasting Corporation of Niue (BCN) Board, and the Liquor Board.
The statutory board plays an important governance role across various sectors in Niue.
The Government of Niue extends its gratitude to the out-going members for their dedicated service and contributions. Their efforts have been invaluable in advancing the work of these boards.
The appointments of the new Board members will be effective as of the first of July.
