The airport car park upgrade is almost in full completion with a few more details to add on such as the concrete barriers, the car park is already in its full effect allowing road users to familiarize themselves with the new car park changes.
Niue Police Chief-Timothy Wilson says the car park is looking great and a good improvement to what was there before.
Wilson also advised the public to follow the arrows when entering the airport and hopes the new car park upgrade will make the airport more safer and cleaner.
Meanwhile, Downer Project Manager-Craig Smart has confirmed that the car park upgrade has been completed with only a few concrete barriers to be laid.
He also confirmed that there will be a social media awareness campaign to inform the public on how the arrows at the airport will be used.
It has also been confirmed that there will be no parking fees charged at the newly improved car park. The full completion of the airport upgrade will take another four months.
