Public Service Commission Announces New Appointments
The Public Service Commission has announced the appointment of two new Directors-Natasha Tohovaka and Morgan Mougavalu.
The Public Service Commission has announced the appointment of two new Directors-Natasha Tohovaka and Morgan Mougavalu.
Natasha Tohovaka is now the new Director of Education. She has been a dedicated senior government employee with the Niue Public Service at the Ministry of Natural Resources under the Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries for many years.
The Commission in a press statement acknowledged all of her contribution to the Agriculture Department and wished her the best in her new role effective from Monday January 8, 2024.
The other new appointment is is the new Director of Transport, Morgan Mougavalu.
Mougavalu replaces Sonya Talagi who is now Minister of Social Services and Natasha Tohovaka takes over from Birtha Togahai.
Mougavalu was one of the USP MBA graduates in 2021. He is a former senior Trade Official and before that had worked for Customs and the Taxation Office.
