It was just last year I couldn’t wait to finish school, I was so excited but as the days drew near my feelings changed, I felt sad that my high school life is coming to an end. I am truly grateful for our heavenly father as he has played a big role in my life. I am grateful for my friends and family for their support and encouragement they’ve showed towards me to do good in school.
I couldn’t be more grateful enough for all the help and support from everyone that has helped and played a role in my life. I know this isn’t the end of my schooling years, but I plan to take up all the opportunities given to me and to never give up.
Like the saying that has kept me going, especially with my ups and downs, I remind myself to “Just have Faith And Never Give up”
Prize Giving Day was really an emotional day not only for me but for my fellow year 13’s, the class of 2023. There were tears of joy and tears of sorrow, but even more happy to congratulate my girl, Dux of 2023 -Malia Vea.
“So, yes I am finally over with high school, but that isn’t the end of my race and the end of it all, I still have plans ahead in the future.”
So for me, I’ve never thought of this or even planned for this to happen, but I am grateful and thankful for the opportunity to work as an intern at the Broadcasting Corporation of Niue.
I am really enjoying my time here and learning heaps. It’s a really exciting job yet at times when I’m in front of the camera I get nervous, but I am getting better for sure. In the end I would love to join the BCN team.
(Karis Ma will serve her internship for a year with BCN)
