The weekly Air New Zealand flights arrival to Niue on Fridays will be changing later this month to a Monday flight, starting on the 28th of March leaving Auckland on Tuesday and arriving in Niue on Monday the 27th of March. The weekly Monday flights will continue until later in September this year when two flights per week will be in effect.
In September Air New Zealand will fly twice a week to Niue, which means the first twice-weekly flight will start on Saturday 16th September from Auckland arriving in Niue on Friday the 15th of September.
Initially, the schedule for the twice-weekly flights was to commence in June but according to the Director of Tourism Micah Fuhiniu-Viviani, due to the staffing issues at Air New Zealand, they were advised that the twice-weekly schedule to Niue will move to September.
The two flights a week will last six weeks from 16th September to 28th October 2023.
Air New Zealand will then revert back to one flight a week and fly again from Saturday in Auckland on the 4th of November arriving in Niue on Friday, November 3rd.
Niue Tourism advises that the Air New Zealand schedule is confirmed right up to the end of this year.
Air New Zealand has not yet released the schedule for 2024.
