Five students from Niue High School named in the Niue U18 boys team confirmed for upcoming Pasifika Youth Cup tournament
The Auckland Niue Rugby League Incorporation has named Niue’s Under 18 boys team who will be competing at the Pasifika Youth Cup that is set to begin this Thursday 26th of January.
A total of 25 boys have been named for the team coming from either New Zealand, Australia or Niue.
Five of the players are from Niue with three who are set to compete in the upcoming junior international tournament. The players are Niue High School students including Kyzah Fatamaka from Lakepa and Alofi North, Chadson Siakimotu from Avatele and Makefu, and Tony Aholima from Mutalau.
The other two players, Max Aholima from Mutalau and Rayguss Fatamaka from the villages Lakepa, Liku and Alofi North, will not be participating in the tournament but are pathway players set for future games.
The Pasifika Youth Cup will commence from the 26th to the 29th of January this month at Bay Roskill Vikings Sports Club in Auckland New Zealand.
Niue’s first match will be against Tonga Development on Thursday this week at 10AM.
All games will be televised Live on Sky Sport TV and a delayed coverage will be uploaded to YouTube.
