CEO of Telecom Niue resigns
The Chief Executive Officer of Telecom Niue Ltd (TNL), Brett Collier has resigned.
BCN news contacted the Chairperson of the TNL Board Avi Rubin this morning who confirmed that Mr. Brett Collier did submit his letter of resignation last week. However, he was not able to disclose the reasons for the resignation.
It’s understood that he sent his resignation letter to the Board of Telecom Niue from New Zealand.
In 2019 Mr. Collier signed a four-year contract with Telecom Niue Ltd until 2023.
Avi Rubin said that the operations of Telecom Niue will proceed as normal. The Board will have three months to recruit a new Chief Executive officer.
In August this year, Mr. Brett Collier was successful in his application for the position of the Director-General of the Ministry of Infrastructure but decided not to accept the offer from the Public Service Commission.
Mr. Collier is currently in New Zealand and will be returning to the island in a few weeks.
