One of the highlights of the year is the annual athletics sports competitions between the four sports teams of Lagakali, Kieto, Pua and Moea.
This year team Pua retains the overall team championship title from last year. Lagakali in second place, Moea in third and fourth is Kieto.
Here are the results of the 2021 Niue High School sports and the champions for each year level.
Year 13 champion boy – Hine Makaia from Pua

Year 12 champion boy – Helemoni Pao from Pua
Year 12 champion girl – Jusal Mokoia from Pua
Year 11 champion boy – Chadson Siakimotu from Kieto
Year 11 champion girl – Karis Manogi PIhigia from Pua
Year 10 champion boy – Kalanise Fomai from Lagakali
Year 10 champion girl – Viarn Motufoou also from Lagakali
Year 9 champion boy -Asaeli Wainiqolo from Kieto
Year 9 champion girl – Carolyn Tukuniu from Lagakali
Year 8 champion boy – Joshua Buckner-Poumale from Lagakali
Year 8 champion girl – Latileta Nunuwale from Pua
Year 7 champion boy – C’zin Toamio from Moea
Year 7 champion girl – Andreeva Sipeni from Pua
The crowd pleaser of the Champs of Champions 100 metres run for the Junior Boys the 2021 Champion is Asalei Wainiqolo and Carolyn Tukuniu the Girl Champion.
Hine Makaia is the Senior Champ of Champions in the boys 100 metres with Jusal Mokoia as the Senior girls Champ of Champions.
In the Ta tika championship for 2021 the Ta tika champion for the Junior boys is Willem Talaiti from Team Moea
And the Senior boys Ta tika Champion is Tagavaitoa Tukuitoga from team Moea.
In the girls olo Fua Niu, the champion for the Juniors is Andahlin Pita from Pua
The senior girls champion olo fua niu goes to Jusal Mokoia also from Pua.
