The last day of the shooting season for the pigeons and bats is Wednesday this week, the 30th of September.
According to the Police Department that is the date set by Cabinet in August and expect that the firearm license holders will abide by these rules.
The Police department confirmed that there is still ammunition available at the Police station should the season re-open again in future months.
At the opening of the season last month, there were concerns from the license holders that the cost of $50 per carton of ammunition was too expensive.
The public is reminded that the shooting season for the local delicacies fruit pigeons and the bats will close on Wednesday this week and to take heed of the notification.
