Chief Electoral Officer officially calls for candidate nominations

The Chief Electoral Officer Darren Tohovaka is officially calling for nominations for next month’s General Election.

The Polling Day for the 2020 General Elections is on Saturday the 30th of May 2020.  

All Nominations of Candidates for the 2020 General Elections must be submitted to the Chief Electoral Officer at his office located at the Department of Justice, Lands, Survey and Community Services, Fonuakula, Alofi either before or on Thursday 14th May 2020 before 12pm.

Electoral Rolls for each village constituency are now opened for inspection at the Department of Justice, Lands, Survey and Community Services, Fonuakula, Alofi during official work hours.  

Copies of the electoral rolls will also be available for viewing on the notice boards at each of the respective village community halls in Niue.
