The scheduled flight NZ 784 to Niue on Friday 27th March has today been cancelled.
Minister for Social Services Billy Talagi and Minister for Natural Resources Dalton Tagelagi made the announcement this afternoon on behalf of the leader of Cabinet Premier Sir Toke Talagi.
In an emergency cabinet meeting today, Tagelagi said that Cabinet has today agreed that in order to support the people and staff they have requested the cancellation.
He said Air New Zealand has responded accordingly at 3pm today cancelling the Friday March 27th NZ 784 flight.
The next flight to Niue is scheduled to arrive on Monday 6 April 2020.
Tagelagi has asked the people to not fear and be mindful and support each other during this crisis.
