Premier attends Pacific expo establishing diplomatic relations with Indonesia
Premier Sir Toke Talagi is attending the Pacific Exposition currently underway in Auckland organized by the Government of Indonesia.
The Premier left the country on Monday July 8th.
BCN News understands Sir Toke Talagi was invited as a key-note speaker at the event.
Premier Talagi is also expected to sign an MOU with the Indonesian Government to establish diplomatic relations.
The Niue Delegation includes officials from the Taoga Niue and Niue Tourism.
The Pacific exposition 2019 is a trade and tourism event designed to facilitate the South pacific countries to promote their economic opportunities.
This 3 days event is aimed at increasing business opportunities and developing networks for business communities, government and tourism authorities in the pacific.
The exposition is also a first step towards connecting goods and people of the Pacific and Southeast Asia.
