Tuapa took out the 2019 cricket championship with Liku as runners
up.
Vaiea came in third with Alofi in fourth place.
The final was held at Hakupu over the weekend with locals turning
up in numbers to support their respective teams. Tuapa is the winner from pool
B while Liku is the winner from pool A.
Liku batted first to a score of 343 points. Tuapa then chased the
score and got 356 points.
The match between Vaiea and Alofi was played at Liku for the third
and fourth place with Vaiea winning the match.
